RECONSTRUCTIVE PLASTIC SURGERY INVOLVING THE PECTORALIS MAJOR MUSCLE FOR
 BASAL CELL CARCINOMA OF THE FACIAL SKIN:
 A CLINICAL CASE

Relevance: Basal cell skin cancer is the most common malignant tumor originating from epithelial cells. Reconstruction of altered tissues
 and organs an urgent significant medical social problem. In particular, head neck injuries are particularly difficult for functional,
 cosmetic, aesthetic reconstruction.
 The article aimed to share experience performing reconstructive plastic surgery using pectoralis major muscle at Head Neck
 Tumor Center Kazakh Research Institute Oncology Radiology, JSC (KazIOR, Almaty, Kazakhstan).
 Methods: describes experience, operation steps, results postoperative wound healing after for
 progression. A split musculocutaneous flap with inclusion on a vascular pedicle was used. was

 Results: Follow-up control 6 12 months showed that intact. There no evidence recurrence or metastasis.
